Market Mingling for Meaningful Gifts

Markets have long been popular, a way for us to grab a bargain, or get something really different. Populated by Mums, Dads, Collectors, Businesses and Artisans, there is somethiing for everyone.

My first market experience happened recently. Having decided it would be great for Esdeer to have a local presence so off I went into organisational mode. First stop to Bunnings to buy all the necessary gear ie gazebo, tables, and miscellany for display. Next came the “What to take issue? “ Up went the table and numerous display options came and went. Signs were written, brochures were printed , everything was loaded up and Esdeer entered the culture of the local market.

What a great experience. The organisers at the Marlston Markets are so helpful, and befriended by a stalwart of the market trade, my transition into market day proved easier than I anticipated. Accompanied by my fabulously supportive daughter, we had a great morning. Many signed up for our free monthly competition, we gave away free gifts with purchases and heaps of brochures. Our most popular items at the market were the Glass Carafe and Tea Balls and the Once a Year baby books.

If you would like to see Esdeer at the Markets we will be at the Bunbury Marlston Waterfront Markets again on the 7th March and the 7th April.

Look forward to seeing you soon

Maureen
